"Isn't it sad that after 30 years in Washington, Chris Dodd is still writing letters and putting out press releases after the fact,'' Ed Patru, spokesman for Linda McMahon, said in a press release. "The H1N1 shortage didn't just occur over night - it has been months in the making. Connecticut families deserve to have H1N1 vaccine availability, but they also deserve a Senator who puts timely leadership ahead of late-to-the-game outrage."We could solve the real problems, the shortage of swine flu vaccine, by removing the source of the problem...
And Rob Simmons, another one of Dodd's GOP opponents, compared the government's handling of the flu vaccines to its bungled response to Hurricane Katrina.
"It is intolerable that H1N1 vaccines have arrived on Wall Street before they found their way to the most vulnerable on the Main Streets of Connecticut where infections grow by the day,'' Simmons said in a statement. "This situation is quickly becoming Katrina-like in its mismanagement, and it is providing an early glimpse at how government-run health care would operate under Senator Dodd's plan."
The failed free market unable to react to the needed production of vaccine.
U.S. health officials expressed frustration Wednesday with the nation's struggles to produce vaccines against the H1N1 flu strain and told lawmakers they cannot guarantee that supply problems won't resurface.Or we could be stupid republicans and ignore the real issues in healthcare. The government does not produce the vaccine. Free marketeers do. If they can't keep up with the demand, perhaps they are in the wrong business?
The new flu strain is spreading faster than the U.S. can make vaccines against it. Equipment problems and the slow pace in growing the new flu strain in laboratories for vaccines scuttled plans to have 161 million vaccines available by October. Today, just 32.3 million doses are available, far less than the 159 million needed to cover all those at highest risk from the H1N1 flu, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Thomas Frieden said at a House Appropriations subcommittee briefing Wednesday.
This is the free markets' bathtub. Let them drown in it.
As for the "letter after the fact"? What the ???
Was Dodd supposed to go all Reagan and ask astrologer Joan Quigley to divine the future on what he should do to solve all of the h1n1 problems before they even existed?
For all of you that advocate crystal balls and teabaging?
"By the time it was over, medics had administered government-run health care to at least five people in the crowd who were stricken as they denounced government-run health care. But Bachmann overlooked this irony as she said farewell to her recruits."Pick up your teeth on the way home, Okay Teabagrrrs?

McMahon is an absolutely hopeless candidate. Her company actually ran footage of simulated necrophilia on nationwide TV. No, I'm not making this up. I couldn't have imagined this if I hadn't seen the YouTube footage myself. The WWE actually did this.
Hey asshole, Kerry and the rest of useless wastes of air blamed Bush for a Flu vaccine shortage. What gives you lame fucks, what comes around goes around.
Go ahead and search my archives for anywhere saying that I blamed bush for a shortage of flu shots. I look at the real problems and the sources of them, not the ones that politicians and hacks like yourself make up.
What goes around seems to be right back at you.
Douche bag, try to keep up. The morons (like you) that keep screaming for Obama-Healthcare ignore the fact the Government in general screws up 99.9% of the time and yet you want your life and your family in the same hands that couldn't figure out a cash for clunkers program or a Swine flu vaccine distributiuon program?
My point is, I don't care who is president, or who is in control of congress, they will and do screw up. In actuality it's the agencies we allow our government to create, to screw up. Obambie and his merry gang of thugs are creating such a massive growth of such government, and they will on a massive scale screw this up as well. Goddamn lemmings.
"Asshole" "lame fucks" "Douche-bag" "moron"
And the right wing and free marketeers wonder why nobody takes them seriously.
Good government only becomes bad government when people determined to drown government get in power and do everything they can to achieve that goal.
There are good people, bad people and really dumb people.
The right wing, the GOP, and the teabagrrrrs suffer from too many of the latter two.
As for the rest of us? We will vote so we don't have to suffer from your manufactured failures.
As for your stupid massive government? Bush and neoconservatives brought us the largest increase in government ever with the DHS.
Whom to blame? Let us try to remember the headlines, OK?
"Lieberman Calls for Homeland Security Vote Warns Against GOP Pork, Special Interest Projects"
Ahhh... Another right wing, warmongering Neoconservative led the charge to failure.
As for your stupid massive government? Bush and neoconservatives brought us the largest increase in government ever with the DHS.
Exactly. So then jerk-off, why didn't the punk Obama and his liberal shills shut it down? Becuase they love this shit, more control more power. Yup, just like swine flu vaccine.
It's coming to light the vaccines were targeted to more democratic freindly areas first. Gotta love Liberalism, bring us the Final Solution one step at a time.
I'll just let your comments stand on their own as to the crazy that is your positions and arguments. I don't need to add a thing.
