Via Paul Bass at the New Haven Independent:
Three years ago the state AFL-CIO convened in New Haven and embraced U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman’s reelection. Thursday the AFL-CIO reconvened here — and made Lieberman its target.
The occasion was the state labor movement’s biennial convention at the Omni Hotel. The convention runs through Friday. A central theme of this year’s convention: Push politicians in Washington to pass universal health care with a “public option” — government-backed insurance.

Casandra springs to mind.
Hang in there
A little while ago, I was thinking about how I don't know one fighter jet from another or anything at all about guns and stuff. I believe that's one of the things you fellows in the military work hard to assure - that the folks here at home can keep our mind on important stuff like keeping the beer cold.
Thanks for all you do.
You do know that I am a veteran and no longer serve, right? I just like to keep the picture there because it pisses off the right wing chickenhawks squawking about wars that they refuse to put their or their own kids blood in.
But thank you for the sentiment. :)
Yeah - I figured you were too old to still be in ;)
I hope it pisses them off every time.
