Rudy Giuliani announces his bid:
In a sign that he's serious about running for the White House, the two-term mayor filed a so-called "statement of candidacy" with the Federal Election Commission indicating that he would seek the presidency as a Republican should he decide to go forward.
Needless to say, the republican tag on his party affilliation should be a real drag on his campaign. Though, the same can be said of almost any GOP candidate given the current political climate based on the GOP's past records that more closely resembles criminal rap sheets than curriculum vitaes.

ha.. if that were ALL that was to it, it would make me vote FOR Rudy (along with the pro-human (gay and womens rights, anti gun). Unfortuantely there's Rudy the hater (remember abner louima? and driving homeless people undergroud even further than they actually were already...?)
and then there's that whole war thing.
On second thought, anyone who'd let that troll Trump get that close to them has a screw loose.
I'm still looking for the photo of Alphonse D'Amato and Giuliani dressed up like Hells Angels as part of a DA sting. Funniest photo EVER! That was a REALLY long time ago when they were still 'buddies'...made the cover of the Post.
I am thinking Rudy's Kerik ties are enough to sink him. It is hard to distance yourself from a police man you gave a job to, and reccommended to the president for a more important job... And then having said officer's mob ties outed.
Can't get anymore Republican than that!
